Aside from the wide variety of Question templates available in our Question Editor, there are some extra features that aren't dependent on specific Question types that are useful to know about.
Rich text editor
The majority of fields in every Question template include a rich text editor toolbar; this toolbar enables you to upload media to your Question, like images and audio, as well as math markup and different HTML styles (including tables).
Scoring and validation
The majority of our Questions are auto-scored, but we do have some that require manual scoring by an instructor. You can see a breakdown of our auto-scored and manually scored Questions here.
In auto-scored Questions, there are three different scoring types to choose from. Some of our Question types have less than three, because not all of the scoring types make sense for all of our Question types. Choose from Exact Match (our default scoring type), Partial Match, and Partial Match per Response. You can read all about the different scoring types, as well as additional Question scoring options here.
With auto-scored Questions, it's also possible to set up more than one correct answer using our Alternate Response option.
Metadata
There is an Extras section at the bottom of every Question template, whether it is auto-scored or manually scored, that contains metadata fields for that particular Question. You can read our metadata article to get a better understanding of each of these fields.
