User management and Learnosity Console Overview

Your own account

You can manage your own Author Site account directly inside the Author Site. You have the option to update your email address (which is also your username), your first name, last name, and your password.

If you forget your password, go to the Author Site log in page and click Forgot your password. Enter the email address associated with your account on the next page. You'll then receive an email with a secure link to reset your password.

If you are unsure of your Author Site username, please contact a user administrator from your organisation and they will be able to help you. Failing that, please contact Learnosity support and we will help you.

User administration

If you have administration privileges, you can manage other Author Site users in your organisation via Learnosity Console

Learnosity Console is a management, analysis, and configuration tool for Learnosity clients. 

It is a centralized location for:

  • User management - Learnosity user account creation & management for authors and managers.
  • Consumer & Item bank configuration - manage settings, contexts & authentication keys for Consumers and Item banks.
  • Analytics - gain insights for API sessions, authored content and Item bank quality evaluation.
  • Asset tools - including asset proxy management for custom questions and features.

With these administration privileges, you can create new users and deactivate existing users.

If you do not have a Learnosity Console account, you can request one on the Console homepage by clicking the Request access button.
