Overview

The Exactly matched to (stringMatch) method checks whether the value set by the author and the learners's response are an exact match. This method is a simple comparison method and does not use our math scoring engine. Therefore it is more strict than the equivLiteral method.

Additional Options

• Ignore leading and trailing spaces
  This option is enabled by default so that spaces before and after a value are ignored when comparing values, i.e. " a" will be treated as "a".
• Treat multiple spaces as one
  This option is enabled by default so that multiple spaces will be ignored and treated as one when comparing values, i.e "a b" is the same as "a  b".
